Christmas is officially in less than a week, and I couldn’t be more excited! I have been so busy getting my Christmas cards sent and buying gifts, that I sometimes forget the true meaning behind the holiday. Christmas is a time to love, and a time to give. It’s very important to remember that. Here are some wonderful reasons to love Christmas
It’s The Most Wonderful Time of The Year
No matter where you are, it seems everyone is last-minute hectic when shopping recently! I myself love seeing everyone scram, it’s the Christmas shopping that really tells you Christmas is just around the corner!
White Christmas
I haven’t seen a white Christmas in a while, but I certainly appreciate the snow around Christmas weekend! Christmas to me just doesn’t feel the same without snow filling the month of December.
Family
Christmas is the time of year to go home and visit your family, as I have mentioned before. It’s the time of year to simply stop arguing and just love one another. This is so incredibly important. I hope every single person gets to be home with their family for the holidays, because everyone truly deserves it. Christmas is about love, and it is so important that families know that.
Traditions
Christmas traditions are my favorite thing, but aren’t they everyone’s? Whether it’s baking and decorating the Christmas cookies, or driving around at nighttime to look at the Christmas lights, I adore all of my own traditions! Also, everyone has certain Christmas films they must watch every year with family!
Giving
As I mentioned before, I have recently been shopping for my friends and family. This is another wonderful reason why I love this time of year. I love seeing my loved ones faces on Christmas morning when they receive my gifts, it makes my heart so happy, because I truly love seeing everyone else as happy as ever!
Christmas Cards
I love being able to send everyone I know, some beautiful Christmas cards with some loving words! I myself am extremely happy when I receive one from my friends and family, and I know many people are happy with receiving them, too! It definitely can show a person how much you care about them.
Love
Christmas is the time of year about love. Whether you’re religious or not, Christmas is truly about the birth of Jesus Christ. To many people, this is very important. Of course, it’s also mostly about love. Loving one another on this Christmas weekend is extremely special, and it’s so special to have family and friends to love. There are so many people in the world, who are less fortunate, and do not receive gifts on Christmas morning. Some don’t even have family to love. So be thankful, and love everyone around you.
Christmas is just this weekend, woah! Well, Merry Early Christmas! What are some of your reasons you love Christmas? Comment below or tweet me @candidlydarling I would love to hear!
I also love spending time with my family and seeing family I don’t always get to see! Great post 🙂
